Introducing the SmartCap EVOd Defender

Expanding upon their existing line of modular stainless steel truck caps, SmartCap has just introduced a cap for truck owners looking for maximum security. Featuring all solid stainless steel panels with no glass, SmartCap refers to the SmartCap EVOd Defender model as the Fort Knox of Canopies.

The EVOd Defender has the same build quality and construction methods as the popular SmartCap EVO Sport, EVOa Adventure, and EVOc Commercial models. The Defender has the same solid steel side doors as the SmartCap EVOa Adventure, but with a solid front panel and rear door as well, eliminating glass for privacy and security. The EVOd maintains innovative SmartCap features like the Positive Pressure Air Vent, drastically cutting down on dust intruding in the bed of the truck. The EVOd Defender is also compatible with the existing line of SmartCap accessories, like the Kitchen Bin, Full Bin, Drawer Bin, and Half Bin, the popular Stow-Away Table, and the full line of SmartCap roof racks, like the Load Bars, Drop Rack, and Platform Rack.

The SmartCap EVOd Defender model also comes in at the lowest price point in the SmartCap line, with a starting price of $3295 for mid-size trucks or $3495 for full size trucks.

The Defender is currently available for the Jeep Gladiator, Silverado and Sierra with the 5’8” bed, the 2023 and newer Colorado/Canyon, the 2022 and newer Tundra with the 5.5’ bed, and the 2019+ New Body Style RAM 1500 with the 5’7” bed, and the 4th Gen Toyota Tacoma in 5’ and 6’ lengths will be shipping soon!
